Rush Enterprises Joint Venture and Ocean Freight Rates

FleetOwner reported that Rush Enterprises completes MCT Companies joint venture to expand refrigeration services.
Supply Chain Dive reported that ocean freight rates cool despite continued price elevation. Transpacific ocean rates cooled slightly last week despite rates at peak levels since July, according to Freightos' weekly update from Sept. 8. Although prices have gone down slightly, they are roughly in line with 2024 peak season levels during Red Sea and East Coast labor disruptions.
